CBCI Custodial Job Description
Job Title: Church Custodian
Job Summary: The Church Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the church facilities. This includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, mopping floors dusting, wiping surfaces, and ensuring that all areas are presentable and ready for use.
Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Vacuum and mop floors.
• Dust and wipe surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Ensure that all areas are presentable and ready for use.
• Report on any maintenance repairs to the head of Building and Grounds

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior custodial cleaning or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects but not over twenty-five pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Physical Demands:

• The CBCI Custodian must be able to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, and perform repetitive motions. The position may require bending, stooping, and reaching.

Working Conditions: CBCI Custodian will work indoors but it does include four buildings.
Salary: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
